Organophosphates High Risk
A class of insecticides that work by disrupting the nervous system. Originally developed from nerve gas research. Still used in agriculture and some household pest control products, though many have been restricted.

Regulatory Status
Many banned for residential use in US and EU. Chlorpyrifos banned in US. Still used agriculturally.

Integrated pest management, beneficial insects, neem oil, diatomaceous earth, pyrethrin (less toxic)
